What You Can Expect
The SAFe® Scrum Master certification equips you with a deep understanding of how to scale agile using the SAFe® framework and enhance your agile toolbox with techniques and skills to be an effective SAFe® Scrum Master. The course covers topics on how to support PI execution, optimise flow and delivery, a high-level understanding of SAFe® Kanban, and the principles behind servant leadership.
Our SAFe® Scrum Master certification is trained by trainers who have worked in SAFe® environments and therefore have hands-on experience to make the training practical and memorable.

- We recommend that you have participated in an Agile fundamentals course (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster or Certified Product Owner or equivalent agile training) SAFe® courses are about scaling, and do not go into details with the Scrum framework or agile mindset.

- After completion of the course, pass the SAFe® Scrum Master certification exam.
FAQ
Is there an exam after the SAFe® Scrum Master course?
Yes, after the 2 days instructor-led course, there will be an exam for you to finish in your own time.
The exam is a 90-minute 45-question multiple choice test. You need 73% of the questions correct to pass. The first attempt is included in the course registration fee if taken within 30 days of course completion. (Retake fee $50). Find more info here.
What is the difference between CSM® and SAFe SM course?
The CSM® and SAFe SM courses differ in focus areas. The CSM® is your entrance-level course to fully understand agile, the Scrum Framework, and the Scrum Master role for a Scrum team. SAFe SM course focuses on scaling using the SAFe framework. Being an agile practitioner means believing in continuous learning, so the question is not which one to take as they build onto each other. Start with CSM® to get the foundational understanding, and if you work or want to work in a SAFe environment, you can do the SAFe SM.
